In March you will have another chance to experience the synergy between Sara Daneshpour and our magnificent
Mason & Hamlin concert grand. This year’s recital will
be held in the Ruth Lilly Performance Hall at University
of Indianapolis’ Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Center.
Known for its unparalleled acoustical quality, the Lilly
Performance Hall was modeled after the legendary 1870
Musikverein concert hall in Vienna, and is among the
Midwest’s finest chamber music venues.
Sara will play Rachmaninoff—her favorite composer,
on his favorite piano—the Mason & Hamlin.
The program will also include selections from Chopin
and Prokofiev; and also from Ravel, who described
the Mason & Hamlin pianos he played as “not short
of being a small orchestra!” So, mark your calendars
for March 13, 2015 . . .and we’ll see you there !
